Based in Atlantic Canada, CAA Atlantic has more than doubled in size in the past 10 years and now counts more than 265,000 Members in all 4 Atlantic Provinces. CAA is currently seeking a Tow Operator/Roadside Service Technician for our Dartmouth location. This role will require applicants to meet demanding physical standards. Offers will be conditional upon meeting acceptable standards. Paid training for this position will be provided to the successful applicant.

What you'll do

Responsibilities

Duties are to provide Roadside Assistance to our Members and include but are not restricted to:

  • Tire changes
  • Lock-outs
  • Battery delivery/replacement/boosts
  • Fuel delivery
  • Towing

What you'll need

Qualifications

The following skills and qualifications will be required to carry out this role:

  • Exceptional commitment to customer service
  • Commitment to working as part of a team
  • Clear criminal background check
  • Clean drivers abstract
  • Ability to work unsupervised and in difficult conditions
  • Relevant work experience in Customer Service and / or Automotive related experience
  • Bondable
  • Strong mechanical aptitude preferred but not essential
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends 12-hour shifts
  • Special consideration will be given to Automotive apprentices
