Moosehead Breweries Limited is Canada's last-major brewer still owned by Canadians. Headquartered in Saint John, New Brunswick, the company has been operated by the Oland family since it was established in 1867.

We are currently seeking a full-time Journeyman Pipefitter/Welder to join our maintenance team. This role is based at our production facility in Saint John, NB and will be responsible for troubleshooting, performing preventative maintenance, repairing, installing and modifying plant machinery and equipment.

What you'll do

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for your safety and the safety of others in your work area.
  • Installation, modification and configuration of production machinery in a high-speed manufacturing facility
  • Fitting/Welding piping installation throughout Brewery (sanitary welds required)
  • Equipment fault analysis
  • Predictive and preventative maintenance procedures and techniques
  • Troubleshooting during production
  • Accountable for lock-out-tag-out and working in a safe manner
  • Identify and develop improvements to systems
  • Work from heights in a safe manner, heavy lifting and various other physical tasks
  • Must be able to work shift work, including nights and/or weekends

What you'll need

Qualifications

  • Valid Province of N.B. Journeyman Steamfitter-Pipefitter
  • Valid Province of N.B. Red Seal Journeyman Welder
  • F3/F4 Qualified welding ticket and certified to weld stainless steel (tig/mig)
  • Minimum 3-5 years
  • Exceptional organization skills with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time and project management skills; ability to multitask
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, energetic and a positive attitude
