Are you a student looking for an internship opportunity that allows you to grow valuable, up-to-date skills in software development? Interested in working with great team in an exciting startup environment?
We're now accepting applicants for 2017 placements. The ideal candidates are people who go above and beyond their studies to learn & grow skills on their own time. We expect you to have done some self-directed learning on your own time, outside of the classroom. We're looking for someone who is hardworking, determined, and who demonstrates excellent time-management skills.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
- Gain experience working with a development team on roadmap goals, QA testing, hot-fixes, and so much more!
- Work on individual projects specific to their internship goals (to be planned directly with successful applicant based on relevant projects at Alongside)
- Collaborate with development teams on tasks given.
- Develop own skills based on self-directed learning.
What you'll need
Qualifications
Education: Must be completing a university or college program in Computer Science, Advanced Web Programming, or another relevant area of study
Language: English
Experience: Some experience is required (on your own time that demonstrates your abilities and learning)
- Excellent listening skills
- Fast learner
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Attention to detail
