WORK REMOTE in the KANSAS CITY MARKET AREA while spending time on-site in Omaha Nebraska headquarters "as needed" for one of THE MOST PRESTIGIOUS BEST COMPANIES TO WORK FOR. As a talented Senior .NET Developer, you will find innovative ways to drive content and opinion across the globe that changes the world a little to a lot every day.
This is a 6 month contract for hire. You can stay in Kansas City or relo to Omaha. This is a perfect opportunity for a Kansas Citian with roots in the Omaha/Lincoln area, a NU or Creighton grad, devoted Big Red Football fan; or misses eating a Runza on a cold winter day or Valentino's pizza.

What you'll need
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor Degree
- Bachelors Science Degree with BS or MS Degree in technology field preferred.
- 6-8 years of consistent corporate experience with Java
- Must have unit testing experience (preferably with JUnit).
- Willingness to take Java Assessment Test
- Must be able to design, implement, test, and deploy a solution from requirements.evelopment life cycle.
- Must understand how HTTP works as it applies to RESTful architectures.
- Knowledge of design patterns and relational databases
- Plus to have the following skills but not required to have ALL to include Git, Maven, AWS, IntelliJ, IDEA, Scala, etc.

Compensation
Initially for around 6 months, you will be paid hourly as a W-2 Employee of Havens Alliance Group; to include access to benefits. Ultimately your pay will be based on industry benchmarks, experience, skills, and previous compensation - a number of variables. However, generally speaking, to meet the demands and requirements of this position, your skills and experience should command a compensation of around 92,000 to 105,000 per year.
