This job posting is for one of Highline Beta's portfolio companies: Relay.
Relay is a next-generation collaboration platform helping ceding teams, insurance underwriters, MGAs and brokers to structure and secure reinsurance and large insurance placements simpler and faster, backed by Fortune-500 American Family Insurance, NFP Ventures and Highline Beta, a co-creation and VC firm in Toronto.
Relay dramatically elevates the levels of digitization, integration, and compliance in the traditional reinsurance industry, while overlaying a light, specialized social network to digitize and augment existing relationships in a space driven by personal connections. Relay has also been selected by both the Plug-and-Play Insurtech and US Global Insurance Accelerator.
As a key member of Relay at our Toronto office, you will help establish a next-generation risk transfer workflow solution in the Property & Casualty (P&C) market, with a huge emphasis on creating an incredible user experience. With our small but rapidly growing engineering organization, you will be a key contributor to technical and product decisions. You will work directly and closely with Relay's cross-disciplinary InsurTech team, consisting of the CEO, Product & Engineering team, Product Consultants and Product users. You will also have opportunities to tutor and coach junior engineers within the development team as it grows.
