What you'll do
Responsibilities
As a Senior Software Developer, you will have the opportunity to ship high-impact software, lead development projects, mentor teammates and work alongside a world-class Product team.
We are looking for a self-starter with a passion for technology, entrepreneurship, and all things startup. The ideal candidate has a deep curiosity and point of view on how startups & enterprises could better partner, co-create, and otherwise collaborate.
We're constantly evolving, which means that for the right person, the role will also develop and grow.
What you'll do:
As a Senior Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include leading development projects for Highline BETA, with venture partners and startups; driving Highline BETA engineering processes and best practices, and advising Highline BETA portfolio companies on architecture and methodologies.
What you'll need
Qualifications
Core Qualifications:
5-7 years experience in high performing agile development teams, shipping software at scale
Demonstrable technical proficiency (Frontend frameworks, server-side frameworks and runtimes, databases, code quality, CI/CD, testing)
Deep understanding of technical processes, architecture, and optimization
Proven experience being a contributor in a highly collaborative environment, working with other developers, product managers, vendors, stakeholders and external clients
Nice-To-Haves:
- Entrepreneurial focus, including past experience as a founder/early employee at a startup
- Track record of technical leadership, and mentorship
- DevOps and Cloud architecture experience, incl. comfort with infrastructure, orchestration, high-availability and security
