Required qualifications to be successful in this role
? Strong , hands on and Proven Data Warehouse (DW) development/testing experience (MUST have)
? Solid hands on QA test experience with DW/relational database including designing , creating and executing complex SQL queries, manipulating test data, validating stored procedures, jobs, triggers and replication
? Hands-on experience with SQL and querying multi-dimensional databases testing
? Reconciliation and Data Validation using SQL
? Solid understanding of databases and systems and the ability to communicate effectively across groups
? Ability to work in a fast pace environment with deadlines
? Self Starter, with strong confidence level.
? Flexible in thought and creative in approach to testing.
Basic Qualifications:
? 5 years as Data warehouse developer or tester ( Must have)
? 3+ years QA/Testing Lifecycle
? 3+ years DB related testing
? 2+ years HP Quality Center/ ALM
? Natezza and Financial domain knowledge is an asset
? Hadoop experience is a bonus
? Risk or Capital Market related experience is an asset
Required Level of Education:
? Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Diploma in IT with equivalent IT experience

Responsibilities
Your future duties and responsibilities
? Review and understand BRD/SRD
? Create SIT test cases/test data /Test execution
? Review Data Models, Data Mappings, Architectural Documentation to create/execute effective SIT Test Plans and SIT test case
? Validates data by running queries in the database and verify the results match the expectations
? Analyzes and troubleshoots erroneous results, determines the root causes, logs the defects in HP Quality Center/ALM and enables defect management, including working with the development team on the resolution of Software related defects
? Works closely with software development team (Business Analysts, Developers and QA) to ensure timely and effective testing effort.
? Creating requirements traceability matrix (RTM) for the releases.
