Are you a student looking for an internship opportunity that allows you to grow valuable, up-to-date skills in sales or marketing? Interested in exciting startups and Saas?
We're now accepting applicants for 2017 placements. The ideal candidates are people who go above and beyond their studies to learn & grow skills in sales and/or marketing. They learn on their own time, are building a great professional network, and love to experiment and test new things. We're looking for someone who is creative with excellent time-management skills.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
- Learn our product and how to tell others about it
- Work on individual projects specific to their internship goals (to be planned directly with successful applicant based on their interests and current, relevant projects at Alongside)
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, growth, and potentially development teams on growth initiatives.
- Develop own skills based on directed-learning of marketing or sales techniques currently used in tech startups and digital marketing.
What you'll need
Qualifications
Education: Must be completing a university or college program in Business, Marketing, or another relevant area of study
Language: English
Experience: Related experience in sales and/or marketing would be considered an asset
- Excellent listening skills
- Fast learner
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Extremely comfortable with doing 90% of job tasks online
