Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Sales and Customer Services Manager is responsible for leading sales strategies defined for the local market, proactively developing new business and creating partnership with our customers. This position plays a vital role representing the company by driving the sales process through strategy, proposal, presentations and successful conclusion to the key decision makers.

You will be joining a strong team of skilled individuals to support the service operations of AKVA group. This is a position with a high degree of leadership, requiring a professional to present a consultative, hands-on approach to the business. 

What you'll do

Responsibilities

  • To understand the customer and market needs and then profitably and sustainably grow the sales into existing and new markets within the region.
  • To meet or exceed the customers' expectations through the delivery of technology and services.
  • Supervision of a growing group of service technicians.

What you'll need

Qualifications

  • Minimum BSc in Sciences - Biology/Aquaculture/Fisheries/Applied Science/Environmental or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Strong business sense.
  • Aquaculture industry expertise especially in the sea cage environment.
  • Ideally successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets (+3 years).
  • Skilled in standard software including Microsoft Excel and Word, with an aptitude to learn and work with various software products.
  • Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of electronics would be a definite asset.
  • Enthusiasm with strong leadership and organization skills. You must be comfortable working at customer offshore sites.
  • Committed and self-motivated with excellent people skills.
  • Responsible team player.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the region as this role will involve client consulting on-site.
  • Valid driver´s license and clean driving record.
