Rose Schnitzer Manor is currently hiring for Resident Assistant.
What you'll do
Resident Assistants (RA) provide direct care to our residents by helping with personal care, activities and other tasks. Resident Assistants help residents with walking, getting in and out of beds or chairs and toilets, assist with dressing, grooming, bathing and helping to make sure that residents are cared for, safe and are treated with dignity and respect so that they may maintain as much independence as possible, following each residents care plan.
What you'll need
- Safety conscious, team oriented, asks for help when needed. Flexible and enthusiastic in meeting client/customer needs, able to organize work assignment independently, able to walk and stand for most of an 8 hour shift.
- Must be able to follow internal policies and procedures as well as state and federal regulations. Must read, write and speak English at a level to communicate with residents and co-workers and to make notes, follow written directions and safety procedures.
- Must obtain CPR with AED and First Aid certification by start date.
