We're looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our fun-loving Developer Crew. If you're known for your uncanny attention to detail, you're the kind of person who always try to find bugs or errors in applications and try to find how to solve them, please keep on reading. 😉 Plus, if you're a natural collaborator and proactive problem-solver with experience working in a cross-functional interdisciplinary work environment, you may very well fit right in.
As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you'll work with our Design and Development teams to bring our projects and, somewhat wild, ideas to life, with style (of course). Expect to roll up your sleeves and pitch in from beginning to end to ensure that our products and projects quality are A1. Expect to put your full range of Quality Assurance strategy, software development and VR skills to good use, as you'll take part in fun testing sessions, advocate QA strategy, explore VR experimentations, and even delve into product thinking from time to time. Although we've been around for a while, we're a small, yet mighty Crew of passionate individuals looking to impact the world, both virtual and IRL. What you'll do
Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Project Owner and Developers, the QA will be responsible for performing various quality assurance operations tasks to ensure high quality delivery of software to final users.
- Develop test plans, test cases, test scripts and test reports on multiple projects of varying size;
- Perform manual and automatic testing on various VR/AR/Desktop software and reporting systems;
- Validate that user expectations are achieved during the testing process;
- Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes;
- Help developers to fix bugs in C# on Unity
What you'll need
Qualifications
- Meticulous and detail-oriented;
- Clear communicator;
- Creative problem solving;
- Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables;
- Ability to think abstract;
- Autonomy and professional judgment;
- Ability to work in a team environment;
- Excellent organizational skills;
- Bilingual; both French and English (working knowledge in French is acceptable).
