Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Project Manager is accountable for the planning, management, coordination and financial control of the onsite installation, maintenance and repair of industry-leading aquaculture technology equipment.

What you'll do

Responsibilities

  1. Agreeing to and defining project objectives
  2. Representing the client's interest
  3. Providing independent advice on the management of projects
  4. Organizing the various professional resorces working on a project
  5. Risk assessment
  6. Making sure that all the aims of the project are met
  7. Making sure the quality standards are met
  8. Using technology to keep track people and progress
  9. Recruiting specialists and sub-contractors
  10. Monitoring of sub-contractors to ensure guidelines are maintained
  11. Accounting, costing and billing.

What you'll need

Qualifications

· Training in Project Management and/or related experience

· At least 2 years of project management experience in a client-facing role, with on-site troubleshooting

· Aquaculture industry experience is an important asset, but not required. The position is ideally suited to someone with experience managing installations projects for electronics and electromechanical equipment

· Skilled in standard software including Microsoft Excel and Word, with an aptitude to learn and work with various software products

· Enthusiasm with strong leadership and organisation skills. You must be comfortable working on customer sea sites and in inclement weather conditions

· Committed and self-motivated with excellent people skills

· Responsible team player

· Willingness to travel as this role will involve a client consulting on-site
