This role represents an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager with a strong consulting background to join a great team. You will be a key part of a project team involved in understanding customer needs and proposing value-add solutions to meet their requirements. Candidates must demonstrate leadership and flexibility, as well as the ability to build rapport with clients, team members, managers, and senior executives. The individual in this role must be able to proficiently apply skills and methodology to manage others, proactively mitigate risks, resolve issues, and escalate projects when appropriate.

T4G Project Managers work across many disciplines and industries, and must be able to understand their clients’ businesses and build credibility quickly. Typical project areas include: leading process or system improvements; custom and packaged system development and implementation; product definition, development, and Go Live; custom development; and web enablement.

At times, projects will be completed at the client site and will require a professional manner and very high standards of communication. Projects may be individual efforts requiring the ability to function independently, or team efforts requiring close cooperation and negotiation skills with other team members.

What you'll do

Responsibilities

  • Work with clients to define scope, solutions, define requirements, develop an executable plan, and identify resource needs, timelines, and costs.
  • Understand the client’s business challenges to design effective solutions that address the people, process, technology, and data needs of our clients to achieve their desired outcomes.
  • Proactively manage risk and influence others
  • Full lifecycle delivery in either a traditional waterfall or Agile methodology
  • Lead the work breakdown and estimation in support of customer proposals
  • As required; manage scope, requirements, resources, time, cost, quality, risks, and communications for delivery projects

What you'll need

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years’ experience in practical hands-on software development project management
  • Customer-facing skills including expectation management and communication skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with audiences of all levels. Including strong presentation development and delivery as well as business and technical writing management
  • Adaptable self-starter who is skilled at creating structure in ambiguous environments
  • Strong logical and analytical problem-solving skills; rigorous approach to project management to deliver enterprise-level projects
  • Highly competent with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Competent in Agile tools such as JIRA
  • Self-starter who can work with limited guidance
  • Experience and ability to deliver under tight deadlines with effective time management skills
  • Experience capturing and analyzing requirements from business users
  • Experience working in a process centric development environment
  • Experience managing project budgets, forecasts, and resource management.
  • Experience in proposal and RFP development
  • Experience delivering projects in a consulting services firm considered an asset
  • Experience delivering Content Management Systems (Sitecore, Adobe, Drupal-Sitefinity) projects considered an asset
  • PMP Certification considered an asset
