Kids Code Jeunesse is proud to bring computer programming to kids inside and outside of the classroom. The ideal Instructor believes every child should have the opportunity to learn to code and you want to help make it happen. You believe in introducing to children, their educators and parents about the importance of digital skills in education. You enjoy working with children, volunteers, community leaders and educators.

You are a life long learner who is curious about programming and welcomes the opportunity to level up your skill set in a friendly non-intimidating environment. You believe that everyone--including yourself--should know the rudiments of computer programming.

Your job will include working with instructors, volunteers, educators, and parents to make sure KCJ is providing the highest level of service. You will also be the public representative for KCJ at local events and conferences.

What you'll do

Responsibilities

  • Build a KCJ community in your city
  • Promote KCJ in Education and Technology environments in your region
  • Coordinate and instruct teacher training workshops; in-classroom courses; Code Create Play workshops

What you'll need

Qualifications

  • University degree (ideally in Sciences, Engineering and/or Education)
  • Strong communications skills
  • Experience instructing digital skills in education
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Enjoy public speaking
  • Enjoy working with children
