The Product Manager assists the Product Management team in driving the product development process to ensure the on-strategy and timely delivery of new products and updates to existing products. The Product Manager works closely with software development, user experience, and cross functionally as required.

 

 

What you'll do

Responsibilities

  • Analyze end user and internal stakeholder feedback to refine product strategy and set direction.
  • Key input to the product roadmap.
  • Deliver product requirements.
  • Daily product backlog grooming.
  • Help in developing, reviewing, and updating manuals and other product and marketing documentation.
  • Perform ongoing industry and competitive analysis (pricing, features, specs).
  • Chair weekly team meetings to review the status of projects and help develop solutions to barriers/project delays.
  • Communicate potential barriers/project delays to internal stakeholders and project sponsors.
  • Act as a liaison between the project team and all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead on all minor and maintenance releases in terms of prioritizing defects and driving team to meet deliverables and launch dates.
  • Fills the role of Product Owner throughout the agile development process.
  • Train internal sales staff on new features and functionality.
  • Create and update internal reports on program performance (measure ROI).
  • Coordinate with partners and vendors to deliver according to approved specs and timelines.

What you'll need

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years? experience in a comparable role.
  • Highly organized, able to prioritize effectively and work independently in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong time management skills and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Technical aptitude is a requirement.
  • Experience working in an Agile Software Development environment.
  • Product Owner Certification is an asset.
