CareGuide is one of Canada’s fastest growing startups. We make it easier for families and individuals to find care for their loved ones through a portfolio of specialized marketplaces, including Housekeeper.com, Nanny Lane, ElderCare.com, and 26 other domains.


We have a history of being unorthodox. In 2015, we acquired CanadianNanny.ca and tripled its revenue within one year. In 2016, we made our foray into FinTech through an in-house payroll solution, and we’ve built a one-of-a-kind investor group including over 60 successful entrepreneurs.

We’re hiring a performance marketing coordinator to help us accelerate our paid user acquisition. If that seems like jargon, we know you’re not phased, because you’re the kind of person who has no problem learning things on their own.

You’re going to play a central role in rapidly expanding our search engine marketing (SEM) efforts. We’ve proven that this channel can work for us, and are handing it off for you to own. The challenge is to achieve 3x year-over-year growth, by:

Developing novel campaigns, designed to achieve scalable growth across our other marketplaces

Overseeing the budget, which is rapidly approaching $1 million annually

Running high-velocity A/B testing across bid strategies, ad copy, and other levers to push for continued optimization of existing SEM campaigns

Analyzing historical data to derive insights that inform channel improvements

Requirements

You trust data over intuition

You are keen to apply an analytical mindset to drive growth

You get excited about doing hard things, without a clear roadmap

Nice-to-haves

Experience developing and testing hypotheses

An understanding of SQL

Exposure to paid acquisition campaigns
