CAA is currently seeking an overnight Roadside Service Technician for our Halifax/Dartmouth location. This is a medium to heavy work load position, with some duties falling under heavy to very heavy work load. Core job requirements require applicants to meet rigorous physical standards. Offers will be conditional upon meeting acceptable standards.

Hours will be 9pm till 9am; 4 days on / 4 days off.

Responsibilities

Duties are to provide Roadside Assistance to our Members and include but are not restricted to:

  • Tire changes
  • Lock-outs
  • Battery delivery/replacement/boosts
  • Fuel delivery
  • Towing

What you'll need

Qualifications

The following skills and qualifications will be required to carry out this role:

Must be over the age of 25 for insurnace purposes.

  • The ability to perform vigorous heavy load duties
  • 5 years' full time working experience
  • Exceptional commitment to customer service
  • Bondable
  • Mechanical skills
  • Clear criminal background check
  • Clean drivers abstract
  • Ability to work unsupervised and in difficult conditions
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends
