Sinai In-Home Care is currently looking for a part-time, on call RN. On call shifts will be 5PM-8AM Monday through Friday.
What you'll do
Triage client and caregiver phone calls. Actively communicate, through telephone calls and home visits, with the clients, physicians and responsible parties according to company policy and state regulations.
On site home visits to client home as needed.
Answer questions by on-shift caregivers to ensure appropriate services are being delivered. Provide guidance to caregivers to ensure accurate completion of Medication Administration Records/Narcotic Count Sheets.
Assure all services are delivered in accordance with the service plan, as needed.
Medication management and/or administration of medication to clients, as needed.
Provide support for caregivers and office staff regarding client services, nursing care and training.
Inform designated office staff and Executive Director of any client issues in a timely manner, and immediately if there is any situation that may put the company, clients, or staff at risk.
Assure all company, client, and employee information is handled in a confidential manner.
What you'll need
Current OR licensed Registered Nurse in good standing
Minimum three years? experience in health care. Home-based services, long-term care, or retirement living preferred.
Highly organized and efficient; can multi-task.
Ability to work independently; anticipate problems and develop resolutions.
Excellent communication both verbal and written.
Meets company employment criteria.
Ability to maintain confidentiality. Understand policies and protocols in sensitive matters and act accordingly.
Minimum of 3 years applicable experience.
