We are Kansas City's best kept startup secret and one of the most explosive early stage companies in region.

Since launching in 2016 we have sold over $30m in cars and have expanded into 8 markets in KS and MO. The BacklotCars family also grew from 10 to 25 last year and looking to hit 50 employees in 2017.

We are a graduate of 500 Startups, a prestigious startup accelerator in Silicon Valley and have investors from all around the world!

We are pumped for 2017 and are now looking to expand our team here in KC and across the midwest! 

We?re looking for business-savvy, strategic individuals that are excited to shake up the wholesale auto industry with us!

We?re currently hiring Market General Managers across the Midwest. Successful candidates will be responsible for account development and retention, as well as new client acquisition within their set regions.

This person would manage all sell side activities within their region and responsible for driving new market launches

This position has potential for exemplary growth as our company grows.

What you'll do

Responsibilities

  • Customer/market prospecting and development of strategic, targeted sales campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships.
  • Track daily, weekly, monthly call activity and performance measurements against goals and sales targets using CRM software.
  • Internal communication and team work with other market general managers, buy-side managers and lead inspectors.
  • Understand the competition/market, and have a keen awareness of changes and trends in the auto industry.

What you'll need

Qualifications

3+ years experience in sales development, field sales expereince preferred

Proficient use of CRM software

Experience with auto sales and/or the auto sales industry would be considered a definite asset

Experience working with market development in start-ups is not required, but would also be considered an asset.
