CoLab Software is building real-time collaboration tools for mechanical designers and product development teams. Our first product, Gradient, is a cloud based design review platform where users can upload 3D files, collaboratively view them with multiple stakeholders, create and track issues, and attach marked-up model shots.

We are looking for a lead developer with strong front end experience to help us create an initial product for our Early Adopter Program participants. You will lead a team of 3-4 developers while also being the main contributor to the product's front end. Our ideal hire will have previous experience building and releasing a web application, and be comfortable making high level development and architecture decisions.
Finally, as a member of a new startup, you would have to be comfortable with lean development processes and dynamic work environments. We are working to find product-market-fit, meaning our team needs to respond quickly to customer feedback.
What you'll do
- Create, own and adhere to a detailed product development roadmap
- Lead a team of 3-4 entry level developers
- Manage GIT respository
- Manage issue creation, assignment and tracking
- Draft product testing plan and build product testing team
- Ensure product adheres to necessary web application security and privacy standards
What you'll need
Knowledge of other languages, libraries and frameworks, as well as security tools and protocols will be considered a valuable asset.
Previous management experience is also strongly desired.

CoLab consists of two mechanical engineers, two computer engineers, a computer science intern and a commerce intern. Our advisory board consists of a VP from Google, a Global Supply Chain Manager from Tesla, and former Chief Innovation Officer from Bosch North America.
