We are seeking an experienced Integration Solutions Architect to fulfill an architecture role for one of our clients in New Brunswick. This role will require a proven technical leader with extensive experience in complex systems integrations for the enterprise. The successful candidate will support the Enterprise Architect through participation in the architecting of a major business solution for a large client. This will include being responsible for documenting technical requirements, executing integration tasks, overseeing technical implementation of architected solution, performing system configuration, system administration, and training/support through the implementation roll-out. Success in this role requires the ability to demonstrate an understanding of the clients’ functional requirements and translate those requirements into efficient and scalable technical solutions and configurations.

What you'll do

Responsibilities

  • Perform an active, leading role in building and enhancing integration architecture, helping to define the future state architectural blueprint and develop roadmaps to get there
  • Actively develop solutions to contribute to enterprise class integration based on Software AG WebMethods, following best practices, standards and procedures
  • Collaborate through effective communications with to achieve a very good understanding of the integration requirements of their projects and then design and develop sustainable integration applications to address those requirements
  • Design integration solutions and produce all design phase deliverables including technical design documents, flowcharts, data transformations, mappings, routing etc. evaluating impacts to performance and scale to support policies and SLAs as required.
  • Manage, & be actively involved during build phase and quality assurance of code to ensure fulfilling requirements and adhering to integration architecture.
  • Ensure necessary development and testing practices (devOps) are engaged to ensure the quality and supportability of the delivered solution
  • Analyze data-related systems integration opportunities and challenges, validating data models from a data integration perspective for current projects as well as other impacted projects and drive quality improvements
  • Deliver innovative strategies to achieve business/partner goals beyond scope of duties

What you'll need

Qualifications

  • 8+ years overall IT system architecture, design, development, deployment experience.
  • Must demonstrate very sound and in-depth understanding of SOA/EAI/ESB concepts, SOA Governance, Event Driven Architecture, message based architectures, file sharing and exchange platforms, data virtualization and caching strategies, integration design patterns and frameworks
  • 3+ years of hands on experience with Software A.G. Webmethods
  • 3+ years of BPMN & BPEL experience
  • Is proficient & hands-on in OO languages such as Java or .NET
  • Significant understanding of cloud architectures & patterns (e.g. Azure or AWS)
  • Strong experience with XML/XSL/XSLT/XSD, JAXDB, SOAP, WSDL, HTTP, REST, APIs
  • Proven expertise with a track record of solution delivery using various data integration solutions in situations requiring real time (synchronous and asynchronous) messaging, Publish/Subscribe models, Microservices patterns, Middleware, Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) and other related methodologies in a multi-user, multi-platform, multi-tier environment
  • Proven hands-on experience leading, architecting, designing, and implementing large scale, high transaction volume, and high availability integration projects.
  • Accustomed to working under pressure and to deadlines while adjusting to rapidly changing priorities
  • Works well in a collaborative, cross functional teams
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, other related field or equivalent work experience.

Nice To Have Qualifications

  • Professional experience in the application of technology in support of the transportation and logistics industry is preferred
  • Strong experience using at least one of the top data modeling tools, such as Enterprise Architect, ERwin, ER/Studio or PowerDesigner.
