What you'll do
Responsibilities
The person we hire:
- Has an expert level ability with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and SQL.
- Views OOP and MVC as essential to building good software
- Understands and appreciates good design.
- Cares about how people use the web and puts user-experience first, which includes usability and performance.
- Stays up-to-date on best practices, modern web standards, speed optimization and mobile design.
- Has high standards of quality. Is unsatisfied with 'passable' and finds ways to make our product the best it can be.
- Communicates in a professional and friendly manner. Can delight a customer over email.
- Is familiar with the Agile/Kanban development process.
- Knows MySQL database administration inside and out.
- Can learn new frameworks and tools quickly, and understands the importance of version control
- Can assist with administration and configuration of our AWS account.

What you'll need
Qualifications
Experience: 1 to 5 years experience in a similar role.
Education: College degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or Software Engineering (or equivalent experience)
