The Opportunity
Imperial Manufacturing Group is currently looking for an Executive Assistant to join our winning team.
Reporting directly to the President and CEO, as our ideal candidate you have a keen eye for details, the ability to organize and manage multiple projects concurrently while also managing your own time and the time of others. You are energetic, motivated and comfortable communicating regularly via email, telephone and in person. Our successful candidate is highly driven and strives to provide the needed support to our entire leadership team.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
- Represent IMG and executive team with professionalism and decorum
- Develop and maintain administrative processes to improve efficiency
- Manage executive calendars and coordinate all travel, meetings, tradeshows or events as needed
- Organize filing systems; electronic and paper
- Work with our Social Committee to organize regular employee activities
- Lead and/or contribute to completion of corporate projects as assigned
- Support management team with various administrative tasks
- Prepare minutes, reports, submissions and summary briefs and communicate to appropriate board, committee or team as required
- Prepare agendas, including travel for meetings and/or shows
- Ability to travel to both Canada and the USA as required
- All other duties as assigned
What you'll need
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years related experience
- Excellent communication skills; verbal and written in both French and English
- High attention to detail
- Able to work independently
- Excellent computer skills; (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience in Manufacturing industry considered an asset
- Completion of relevant University or College program
