The Opportunity
Cedar Sinai Park is hiring for Dietary Aids.The Dietary Aide trays up food trays and delivers it to residents in a professional, friendly, and timely manner in accordance with established policies.
Shifts available include:
a) Full-time, Monday-Friday, early morning shift
b) Saturday and Sunday, two long, day shifts
c) Evening Shifts 3:30PM-7:30PM
What you'll do
Responsibilities
Set up meal trays, food carts and prepare to serve. Delivers food trays to residents. Returns trays to carts and dishwashing areas. Prepares and delivers snacks as needed or other required food preparation. Assists with cleaning and sanitation. Most importantly provides excellent customer service to our patients and residents.
What you'll need
Qualifications
Must be able to read, write and speak English well enough to perform the job and to communicate adequately with patients. Must be able to follow oral and written instructions. Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm and work with an awareness of safety. Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position with our without reasonable accommodation, including standing and walking for most or all of shift.

Cedar Sinai Park's roots are firmly planted within the Portland Jewish Community. In 1920, the need arose for housing for the elderly, and the community responded by furnishing a 16-room Victorian home in the heart of the primarily Jewish neighborhood in Old South Portland. Originally named the Jewish Old People's Home, it served seniors at that location until the 1950s. In 1954, the Board of Trustees purchased and broke ground on seven acres of farmland in southwest Portland, where suburban neighborhoods were beginning to crop up. Today CSP continues to serve our community, residents and patients and has grown to 365 employees. Our motto is Love, Honor, Respect. We're a special team, with big hearts and high standards.
