The Opportunity
We are seeking a Junior Developer (perhaps still in school and needing a co-op placement) to help us build brilliant together. Success in this role will be a result of an ambitious attitude, an eagerness to learn about emerging technologies and an ability to solve complex problems.
In this role, you will join a team that is taking emerging and existing technologies and using them to help our clients change business models and reach their customers in new and innovative ways.
We need people who are driven to understand the technical and functional solution they are delivering, energized by working in a multi-project environment, and have a passion for delivery. You don’t take yourself too seriously and believe in having fun while the work happens.
We understand that you may not have all the qualifications listed in this posting – although it would be impressive if you did. Experience means a lot, and skills can be transferred and learned, but we feel passion and fit are just as important. Above all else, we’re looking for someone who can bring new perspectives to our work and culture, and has a desire to be challenged.

What you'll do
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to identify reporting / database / application requirements
- Create and/or enhance reports and databases based on the user needs
- Create documentation of databases and integrations including data standards, definitions, procedures, flow, etc.
- Manage and resolve database and performance issues
What you'll need
Qualifications
We would be looking for someone in 4th year from Mathematics or Software Engineering or Computer Science department with the following skills/experience:
- Familiar with Multidimensional database concepts
- Experience creating or maintaining a data warehouse
- Experience building a web-based dashboard / reports
- Experience with working in a consulting environment
- Comfortable working independently
- Good communications skill is a must
- Familiarity with retail concepts is not a must but is an asset
- .NET development and SQL Server (including Analysis Services, Integration Services, and Reporting Services) experience is not a must but is an asset
