We're looking for a technically-minded customer support rep to join our team and help us achieve world domination.

We're a scrappy team based in Halifax, Nova Scotia with nearly 4,000 customers spread across every continent on Earth (minus Antarctica, still working on that one).

Our team has been the secret sauce to our success and growth so far and we're looking for more people with the right skills and personality to help us power things up.

What you'll do

Responsibilities

The person we hire for this position:

  • Is a people-person first and foremost, and loves solving problems for others.
  • Is technically proficient, uses the web constantly, and understands how software and browsers work on basic level - ideally with a design or development background.
  • Has experience working in marketing/design agencies and/or startups, and can relate to our audience of business owners, sales professionals, and consultants.
  • Is ready to jump into our software head first and explore every inch of it to understand how it works so s/he can explain it to others.
  • Communicates through email and over the phone in a clear, concise and friendly way. Requires as few back-and-forth emails as possible to delight customers, solve their problems and turn them into raving fans (if they aren't already).
  • Answers the main phone support line between specified hours.
  • Has deep empathy for customers experiencing problems, and responds appropriately to their emails in a friendly, sympathetic or apologetic manner as the occasion calls for it.
  • Doesn't come across as apathetic, cold, or impatient (even when a customer is wrong or acting rude).
