Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager’s primary objective will be to develop new business within New Brunswick by executing tactics within the firm’s revenue growth strategy. This will be accomplished by: using industry-specific knowledge and research to develop and connect with prospective clients; responding to requests for proposals; representing the firm at industry and community events; facilitating client events; and, supporting individual lawyers to establish new clients and gain new work from existing clients.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of seven years of proven success in B2B business development, preferably from a corporate environment. The candidate will require solid verbal and written communications, interpersonal and business research skills. The candidate also must have a familiarity with legal, business and industry trends. The ideal candidate will have a solid ability to work in both official languages.
We require a natural relationship builder; a person with the ability to forge strong connections with clients and lawyers. The candidate will have a degree in business with a marketing related concentration, above average technical proficiency, and comfort with travel.
