Female Funders is looking for a Business Development Manager with a strong understanding of creating strategic relationships with individuals and corporates. The ideal candidate excels at fostering existing relationships with partners, identifying and developing new opportunities, and entering each partner interaction with intention and ability to demonstrate value and success. Advocating for both our internal team and our external partners, you are capable of navigating and representing different perspectives, ensuring that Future Capital is a transformational product and experience for all. 

Your experience with building personal relationships and providing value to diverse clients and stakeholders creates a strong portfolio of skills for communication and accountability. You're responsible and comfortable having a conversation with senior stakeholders. You demonstrate sound judgment while seeing the big picture, creating clarity within ambiguous situations, and seamlessly managing interactions with confidence and care.

What you'll do

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to extend the roadmap of existing engagements and increase revenue
  • Understand and select Future Capital's best approach to understanding stakeholder's needs and ensuring there is alignment within the product
  • Develop and manage partnerships valued at $20,000 and above
  • Keep your eye on the big picture while working day-to-day with the partner
  • Be a trusted advisor and provide strategic direction to partners
  • Establish relationships with potential partners and pitch compelling ideas
  • Initiate and lead kick-off meetings with our internal team and partners
  • Nurture partner relationships with ongoing communication and on-site meetings as necessary

What you'll need

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a related field
  • Membership or partner management for 3-5 years
  • Experience building meaningful strategic relationships at the Board and C-suite level
  • Comfortable speaking to the functional areas of our business, our vision and 'the why'
  • Experience managing complex projects and cross-disciplinary teams
  • Familiarity or experience with the startup ecosystem and/or venture capital is a plus

Nice to have:

  • Experience launching a digital product from inception to launch
