When you're building a company that will help lead a movement, you need people that are up for the challenge! As a mobile first solution with a manager portal, we need to look amazing, work smoothly and make it easy and simple. We've got a shiny new mobile app and now we need someone to lead the backend framework, API for front-end applications, server management, manage data and 3rd party integrations.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
Here's what we need you to do:
- Be the point person on data piping, 3rd party integrations recommendations in product meetings.
- Work with mobile development team to provide the API end points and data flow needed, work with the front-end developer for the manager's portal data needs and be the keeper of the logs to monitor for problems, bottlenecks and foresight on resources needs.
- Setup a way to get real usage feedback in data flow, server usage and user data feedback to fuel improvements and solve bottlenecks.
This person should be a quick learner, knowledgeable in the latest DB and back-end technology insights, naturally talented in logic and a great sense of data flow, architecture and foresight.
Being a small team, every moment matters. Having experience under your belt means you know when to say "no, because" and "yeah, I think we can do that since" and that's what we need.

Qualifications
Education:
College Degree in software engineering, information system architecture, data-flow specialization
Bachelor Degree in software engineering, information system architecture, data-flow specialization
Language: English
- Ruby on Rails, AWS, Linux server mgmt, Javascript, Postgresql, Queuing, Redis, Caching, C# (asset)
