The Opportunity
CareGuide is seeking an analyst, financial planning and analysis to support financial forecasting and budgeting for financial and non-financial KPIs. The position will entail providing forward looking financial models, regular and real time analysis on our financial results. This numbers-oriented person will assist in the decision making process in driving the company’s top line and ensure each of our our projects maximizes growth.
We are looking for highly analytical, organized and self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills who is looking to learn and grow in their career. Our ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment seizing opportunities to take ownership and increase responsibilities as the company grows. They also love to develop creative solutions to complex and challenging problems.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
- weekly and monthly management reporting and analysis,
- build and maintain key budget and forecast models,
- lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process,
- work with strategy and growth teams to understand and add value to future investments and projects,
- develop, and mine the company’s financial and non-financial data,
- taking an active role in improving business efficiency including CAC,
- support month-end close process,
- And other analysis as necessary

Qualifications
Our ideal candidate:
- builds strong relationships with our internal business leaders, becoming an indispensable team member,
- collects and understand data, and brings key insights to the team
- influences key business decisions through insightful data analytics and experience,
- constructs detailed and accurate short and long range plans and budget models that drive accountability into the business and provide a reliable base for budgeting and cash forecasting
- deliver timely and insightful regular business reports and analysis to management,
You have:
- Financial analysis and financial modelling experience, preferably including subscribers and revenue in a subscriber-based business
- Relevant post-secondary education
- Effective communication skills coupled with a solid understanding of the SaaS business model
- Expertise in Excel modeling with large volumes of data
- The ability to find the story in the numbers and prove business strategies and tactics using financial analysis and modeling
- A proficiency and confidence working with new technology
