The Opportunity
We are looking for a User Acquisition analyst in Halifax or Moncton to join our mobile gaming company. Ideally, you are a quick-learner who thrives in the fast-paced mobile space where the focus is on data-driven decisions. We want you to be a business-savvy number-cruncher who can manage multiple advertising campaigns. This role is well suited for those who are analytically strong and want to make a direct impact on the growth of the business.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
- Monitor and optimize advertising performance; drive user growth while maintaining or improving ROI
- Use analytical skills to find better users and player profiles.
- Explore new opportunities for user growth including new channels, partnerships and messaging
- Every month create and present a review and action plan to drive user growth based on your analytical insights
- Every week report on the status of our user acquisition efforts
- Constantly maintain relationships with external mobile advertising partners
What you'll need
Qualifications
- Significant experience performing quantitative analysis, preferably for an Internet or technology company
- B.S. or B.A. in math, BI, economics, engineering or other technical fields
- Software engineering skills
- Excellent SQL skills: extensive experience querying large, complex data sets
- Ability to create complex models and algorithms
- Understanding of advanced statistical methods
- Familiar with machine-learning techniques
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to meet changing deadlines and priorities on multiple simultaneous projects
- Enjoy working in both individual and team settings
- Strong English level is a must (written and oral)
