The Lounsbury Group of Companies is hiring a Human Resources Generalist to join our Human Resources and Payroll team. The Human Resources Generalist's primary responsibility will be Recruitment along with other HR initiatives, and new program roll-out. This role has a lot of opportunities for growth to take on disability management and benefits administration.

What you'll do
Responsibilities
- Full-cycle Recruitment: job postings, post ads on online job boards, monitor Applicant Tracking System, screen resumes and conduct pre-screening interviews, conduct telephone reference checks, and draft offer letters.
- Onboarding of new hires.
- Develop relationships with recruiters, schools, and any other party that can help advance our recruitment efforts.
- The ideal candidate will also have a special interest in international recruitment, and become a subject matter expert.
- Assist with the roll-out of HR initiatives.
What you'll need
Qualifications
- Post-secondary diploma in Human Resources Management is required.
- Must have, or be working toward, Canadian Professional Human Resources (CPHR) designation.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of work experience in a human resources role, is preferred. Must have worked in an administrative role within an office setting.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, SharePoint, and Excel), with an aptitude to learn new technology.
- Ability to prepare ad hoc reports using Microsoft Excel.
- Must be proactive and be able to anticipate information that will be needed.
- Can handle confidential information ethically and professionally.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
- Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Strong customer service focus.
- Highly conscientious, along with an energetic and mature approach to his or her work.
