Position Overview:
The Operations Associate will be responsible for assisting and enabling in the day-to-day execution of the organization's finance and operational activities. This position will play a key role in execution of order fulfilment, analytics assessment, report preparation, in addition to ad-hoc finance projects. This position reports directly to the Manager, Finance and Operations however the candidate will work closely with other members of the organization. The Operations Associate will be tasked with ensuring the removal of all barriers of execution to ensure to continued success of the organization.
The location of this position will be in Halifax, NS.
What you'll do

Responsibilities:
Work with Manager, Finance & Operations to prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and associated reports
Work with Manager, Finance & Operations to prepare financial analysis, develop operational controls, develop policy and procedures and other ad-hoc projects
Preparation of monthly expense and commission reports
Assist in annual preparation of annual strategic plan and budgeting process
Day-to-day bookkeeping duties
Assist client onboarding and research and development team with order fulfilment of 3D Printers, Filament, and other required tools
Report KPI's to management on a weekly basis
Assist in the development of documents and procedures for the organizations quality management system (QMS)
Document and assess the validity and efficiency of the organizations internal processes
Assist in the activation of supply chain for new products and services offered to the market
Assist in the fulfilment of annual requirements for various regulatory bodies (USFDA, CE)
What you'll need
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree required (Commerce, Accounting, Finance)
Co-Op experience an asset
Currently enrolled in or interest in enrolling in the CPA program an asset
Experience in Quickbooks, Salesforce, Microsoft Office
Strong writing skills and analytical thinking
Strong attention to detail, without losing sight of the big picture
Ambitious curiosity and passion for learning.
