The successful applicant will be expected to contribute to one or more of the areas of poetry, fiction, drama, creative non-fiction, and spoken word; and to expand and develop our Creative Writing program.

The successful applicant will hold a PhD, or an MA/MFA, and have demonstrated professional standing through a body of published creative work. The department is particularly interested in applicants from under-represented groups, as defined below. The department sees creative writing as a complementary part of the study of literature. The standard teaching load in the Department is 3-2. The appointment will begin on 1 July 2019.
