AmpMe

We're looking for an experienced backend developer to help us build and improve AmpMe - the app that lets you sync phones with your friends to listen to music and watch videos at the same time! We’ve also recently released remote parties and chatting - throwing some of world's biggest parties!

You will be an essential part of our team, helping scale AmpMe to the tens of millions of users across the world. Come join our awesome team that loves to work hard and play hard - we’re infamous for our team activities!

What we’re looking for:

• Strong knowledge of
  • Node.js and familiarity with Java, Go and Scala
  • Docker, orchestration (ex: Kubernetes) and microservices architecture
  • Relational and non-relational databases (MongoDB, MySQL)
  • Git and the GitHub Flow
• Experience with high traffic and highly available systems
• A strong desire to learn in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills in English and French (asset)

Your role:

• Develop and maintain AmpMe's backend infrastructure
• Ensure the performance, scalability, availability, and responsiveness for AmpMe users
• Collaborate with our team to define, design, build and ship awesome features
• Take data-driven decisions regarding the future of our infrastructure
• Maintain high code quality, organization, and automatization
